Style: 4 person scramble (shotgun start)

Entry Fee: $105*
Registration Deadline: Friday, May 31

*Entry fee includes a golf shirt, greens fee, cart, practice range balls, putting contest entry, and food at the post event barbeque. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place teams and various field events throughout the day.

About the Provost's Scholarship Open

Purpose: The Provost's Scholarship Open, hosted by the Department of Recreational Sports and the University Golf Course, is a golf tournament to benefit students of the University of Minnesota by raising funds to endow student scholarships. Karen Hanson, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, invites you to join her in this day of celebrating our students and assisting with the effort to provide additional scholarship support.

Who Can Participate: The tournament is open to the entire University community, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends.

A unique aspect of this golf outing is the social interaction between faculty, staff and students that occurs while playing together in foursomes. If you are unable to play in the event or would just like to sponsor a student to play in the event, simply fill out the student sponsorship line on the registration form.

Silent Auction Donations ($100 value)

Product donations are greatly appreciated for our silent auction.

How it Works

The leadership of the Recreational Sports Network will play a vital role in selecting alumni-specific programs and events. A survey of interests in currently being developed, and will be sent to all members of the Network.
