Supporting the Recreational Sports Network
Your agreement to support the Recreational Sports Network does not require that you become actively involved or contribute financial resources, only that you support the Network's mission. However, there are several opportunities to become actively involved in leadership roles, program participation, and fundraising efforts.
Become a Network Member
To become a member of the Recreational Sports Network, simply email kfresk@umn.edu and include
- • first and last name,
- • current mailing address,
- • current email, and
- • University ID and graduation year if applicable.
If you are a member of the University Minnesota Alumni Association, you can also join by indicating the Recreational Sports Network as your UMAA special interest group of choice. If you are planning to join or renew your UMAA membership, please be sure to include the promotional code NP6RS in your form to ensure that the Network benefits from your membership.
Volunteer for a Leadership Role
The Recreational Sports Network is currently seeking members to serve on the group’s Board of Directors. If you are interested in actively helping to advance the Network and Department of Recreational Sports priorities, please email kfresk@umn.edu.
Participate in Programs and Events
The leadership of the Recreational Sports Network will play a vital role in selecting programs and events. A survey of interests in currently being developed, and will be sent to all members of the Network. If you have any ideas for social, professional development, or networking programs and events, please email kfresk@umn.edu.
