The Aquatic Program offers a variety of aquatic-based activities for its members. The purpose is to provide high-quality experiences that meet the educational, recreational and competitive goals of University students, faculty, staff, and the general public.
In addition to regularly scheduled open lap swim, Aquatics offers a wide variety of activities for members. The Learn to Swim program offers swimming lessons to teach basic water safety skills and information. The Twin Cities Swim Team is a comprehensive swim program ranging from the beginner to the Olympic level. Finally, Water Aerobics offers basic water fitness for swimmers of various levels. The Events Information page offers detailed information on upcoming Aquatics events.
The Minnesota Diving Academy and University of Minnesota are partnering in July and August to host the 2013 Age Group & Junior National Diving Championships. Volunteers are needed for the entire event. If interested in volunteering, please contact the Event Director, Annie White, at amwhite@umn.edu.
