How to Register
Online
Online registration is accessible through our website, where you will be able to search for classes by name or by course bar code.
- • Once enrolled, participants should be sure to write down their Login ID and Personal Identification Number (PIN).
- • To register online, participants will need to create a family account. Each family account needs to include at least one main contact (parent or guardian for children).v
- • Participants that have been previously enrolled in lessons or youth programs within the last year will aready have an account in the system. For difficulties accessing account information or misplacement of a username or password, please call the Learn to Swim office at 612-625-3794. Please do not create a duplicate account!
- • Online Registration is reserved for current participants only starting on the Saturday of each registration session beginning at 8:00am.
- • Online Registration is available for all participants starting on the Sunday of each registration session beginning at 8:00am.
- • Participants registering online must pay by credit card at the time of registration.
- • Computers with internet access will be available on the Sunday of each registration session from 11:30am - 12:30pm in St. Paul and 1:00pm - 2:00pm in Minneapolis. Learn to Swim staff will be available to assist you and answer questions during these times.
- • If new to the program, it is recommended that participants familiarize themselves with the website and call the Learn to Swim office with any questions PRIOR to the start of online registration.
Via Mail
Mailed-in or hand-delivered registrations will be processed in the order in which they are received starting on the Wednesday of each registration session at 9:00am. Registration forms should include payment (check or cash). For your security, we can no longer accept credit card payments on mailed-in forms. Participants will be notified of their acceptance into a class by a confirmation card in the mail.

Wait List
Class sizes are limited in order to insure quality instruction and optimal participation. If the class you wish to register for has already filled, you will have the option of joining the wait list for that class. To join a wait list, simply select the “Wait List” option online, or call the Learn to Swim office. As a courtesy to others in the program, participants must limit their wait-listing to one class per session. If a participant joins more than one wait list per session, the Learn to Swim program reserves the right to remove that participant from all wait lists. If a spot opens in a class, the Learn to Swim staff will contact prospective participants on the wait list to offer placement in the class.
