The Center for Outdoor Adventure (COA) provides participants with alternative recreation experiences revolving around the great outdoors. Each semester, COA offers a full schedule of Trips and Clinics to introduce participants to the fundamentals of outdoor adventure skills and environmental ethics. Activities range from backpacking to ice climbing, both locally and nationally.
COA is also a great resource for the experienced outdoor recreation enthusiast. A resource library is available to help individuals plan their next trip, and a full line of gear is available through our Equipment Rental program. Those looking to purchase, or even sell, their own equipment, might want to check out the COA Annual Gear Sale.
Climbing is another great way for members to get involved with the Center for Outdoor Adventure. With one full climbing wall and two bouldering caves available, there’s a challenge for climbers of all skill levels.
Come check out the new holds and routes at the recently renovated St. Paul Climbing Wall.
There are still openings available for trips and clinics offered through the Center for Outdoor Adventure. For more information, visit the COA Trips and Clinics page.
