INTERMEDIATE LEVEL POSITIONS
Intermediate level positions are a great way to take on more responsibility with the Department of Recreational Sports. A sound knowledge of departmental policies, programs and procedures combined with specific qualities and certifications may be required for employment. Intermediate level positions may also require a prospective employee to give specific examples of his/her qualifications for the position. All intermediate level positions require student employees to be trained in CPR, First Aid, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens. For students that do not already posess these certifications, training will be provided by the department upon being hired.
Member Service Representative

Job Description
The Department of Recreational Sports is currently looking for a qualified individual to fill the Member Service Representative position. This position will assist in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to:

  • Customer Service – Answer questions about facilities and programs and assist with sales
  • Knowledge of departmental membership policies – including eligibility and pricing
  • Provide tours of the recreational facilities to new and potential members
  • Maintain cash drawers
  • Thorough understanding of the department’s point of sale system

Job Requirements
All student employees are required to be trained in CPR, First Aid, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens. For students that do not already possess these certifications, training will be provided by the department upon being hired. Other requirements related to the position include:

  • Previous customer service experience
