The Student Recreational Sports Dome opened its doors to the University of Minnesota community on January 17, 2012. Commonly referred to as “UMN Dome”, this facility is 255' wide, 360' long, and has a maximum height of 75'.
Activities that will take place in this facility include (but are not limited to) soccer, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, flag football, softball, rugby, kickball, instructional camps, and many other activities.
With the opening of the new Student Recreational Sports Dome, Recreational Sports is excited to offer open walking times from 6:30-9:00am on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Use of this space is included with a Recreational Sports membership. Walking passes are also available to the general community for $2 per day or $15 for 10 visits. A single lap around the perimeter is .23 miles so come on out and enjoy the space!
