Enrollment Fee: $40 + tax
Deductions: $9.23 per pay period
*Deductions are taken post-tax each pay period and will continue until member completes cancellation paperwork
I am a staff member taking classes. Does that qualify me for student membership?
If you are receiving Tuition Benefit or Regent’s Scholarship, you are classified as staff for purposes of membership.
I would like to cancel my payroll deduction membership. What is the process?
You will need to bring your U Card to the University Recreation Center Member Service Office or the St. Paul Gymnasium Front Desk. You will be asked to complete two forms, which will cancel your membership and cease your deductions.
I tried cancelling my payroll deduction membership, but the deductions are still coming out of my paycheck. Why?
Due to a lag time in paperwork and processing, it will take one to two pay periods for your deductions to cease. This lag time also occurred when you enrolled for membership, so you are not being overcharged.
