Student Membership

All University of Minnesota students paying the Student Services Fee have automatic membership for the Department of Recreational Sports.  Simply bring your U Card to either the University Recreation Center or St. Paul Gymnasium to start enjoying your membership privileges.

For students not paying the Student Service Fee:

Degree Seeking Students:
$100 per semester
*Semester memberships are $75 in the summer.

Non-Degree Seeking Students (Extension Students):
$110 per semester
*Semester memberships are $85 in the summer.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Can I put my membership on my student account?
  Unfortunately, we are not able to charge your membership to a student account. You may pay via cash, check or credit.
• I attend a University of Minnesota coordinate campus (Crookston, Duluth, Morris, Rochester), but will be in the Twin Cities for a semester. Am I able to use the facilities?
  As a student from a coordinate campus, you are eligible to purchase an extension student membership.
