Healthy Matters is a web and poster based wellness series, created by Boynton Health Service, the Department of Recreational Sports and Housing & Residential Life, to help students navigate wellness options while at the University of Minnesota. Every week a new Healthy Matters tip will be posted on this page and www.myu.umn.edu under the wellness tab. Each tip will be based on one of the four components of Healthy Matters.
- • Healthy Body: tips and resources about physical activity, including cardiovascular endurance, body composition, flexibility and muscular strength and endurance
- • Healthy Balance: tips and resources for well-balanced nutritional choices
- • Healthy Mind: tips and resources for recognizing personal strengths and limitations, coping with life challenges and maintaining satisfying relationships
- • Healthy Being: tips and resources for disease prevention
