Chinese – New Class!

Do you know which country is currently home to the most English speakers in the world? Believe it or not, it’s China. China is a rapidly developing nation with a rich and storied history, and while every Chinese student is currently studying English, less than 20,000 American high schoolers are learning Chinese. At this camp you will: be given a basic introduction to conversational Chinese, learn about Chinese culture, both past and present, learn how to cook some traditional Chinese dishes, and enjoy the fun of creating traditional Chinese artwork. Take a chance this summer and see if the Chinese language may be right for you! (we can’t wait to see you!)

horseYouth In Culture – New Class!

Join us for a whirl-wind adventure as we cross the world in 5 short days. What is Sandaenori? What happens in a Mosque? “What’s up with the hijab?” Why do people who practice Islam pray 6 times per day? These questions and many more might be answered. What questions to YOU have? The world is not as large as it once was, and it’s getting smaller all the time. Take the time to learn about some cultures different then your own and see the world without leaving the state!
